Tijuana Airport Guide to General Abelardo L. Rodriguez International Airport (TIJ)

Tijuana Airport Cross Border Terminal

Opened in 2015, Cross Border Terminal is located in US. It is a building which helps passengers transfer to and from Tijuana Airport in Mexico to San Diego in the US.

It consists of a Border Bridge that connects both the Cross Border Terminal and Tijuana Airport Main Terminal.

It can only be used by passengers with a boarding pass and it is needed to pay a fare to cross the bridge.

Levels

The passenger terminal in the US side just serves as a check-in and processing facility for both departing and arriving passengers. On the other hand, the Otay Mesa terminal has its own facilities such as US customs and immigration, parking, check-in desks, customs, excluding boarding gates and arrival facilities.
