Renting a car in the United States – Tips and advices

- You need to be above 21 or even above 25 to rent a car in the US. In order to rent the car, companies will ask you for your passport as well as for your visa, so keep them in hand.

- To drive in the US, you need to have a full and valid driver’s licence from your home country. Also, International Driving Permit (IDP) is needed.

- The proof of insurance is needed to drive a car too. Keep it with you while driving.

- You need to be equipped with warning triangles in case of accident. American law says it is compulsory to bring them in your car.
